Marnwell Studio builds small, joyful learning apps for 6 to 12 year olds. The kind we would hand to our own children — and the kind we would want a parent to trust without reading the fine print.
A vague wish becomes a clear request
“draw something cool” to a request a machine can actually follow — is a thinking skill. It is the one our first app is built around.
One app at a time, finished properly. We would rather publish a small catalogue we are proud of than a large one we have to defend.
A children’s app makes most of its money from the things we will not do. That is the whole point, so it is written here rather than buried in a policy.
None. Not a banner, not a rewarded video, not a “partner offer”. Nothing in our apps is trying to sell your child anything.
No advertising identifiers, no profiling, no third-party analytics. We never sell or share personal data — there is no business model here that would tempt us to.
A daily time limit that the parent sets, and that we enforce on our own servers. When the time is up, the app says so and stops. It never begs for one more minute.
A first name and an avatar. No birth date, no address, no photo, no phone number. A child has no account of their own — the profile lives under a parent’s.
Lessons are written and reviewed by people before they ship. No model improvises in front of a six year old.
Erase the account, every profile and everything ever written, from inside the app or from this site. Immediately, with no copy kept.
Every message is read and answered by someone who worked on the app. No ticket number, no chatbot, no queue.
